Stirling Schools are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students in the recent Wezary exams in Iraq. The Wezary exams are a highly competitive, nationwide assessment that play a crucial role in shaping the future of Iraqi students, determining their university placement and opening doors to higher education opportunities both locally and abroad. Securing a top rank in these exams is a mark of academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance.
This year, Stirling Schools are delighted to share that four of our students have ranked among the very top in Iraq: two in Kirkuk and two in Baghdad. These extraordinary results are a testament to the commitment of our students, their families, and our teaching community.
In Baghdad, Lana Ibrahim Ghalib distinguished herself as one of the nation’s brightest minds, whilst Amna Mohammed Kassab, who began her educational journey with Stirling Schools in Grade 1 and has been part of our community for 12 years, secured an equally outstanding top position. Their dedication and resilience throughout their academic journey have truly paid off, marking a proud moment not only for them but for the entire Stirling family.
Meanwhile, in Kirkuk, Ahmed Dilshad Saber and Taiba Hamid Mustafa rose to the very top as this year’s outstanding achievers. Their success is a testament to both their hard work and the strong academic foundation built within Stirling Schools. Ahmed has been recognised for his consistency and academic discipline, whilst Taiba’s performance reflects her determination and passion for learning. Together, they showcase the exceptional talent and promise emerging from Kirkuk, further highlighting Stirling Schools’ impact across Iraq.
Recognising their achievements, all top-ranking students were honoured by their schools with an extraordinary gift of a car, symbolising not just their personal success but also the hope and potential they carry for the future of Iraq.
Timothy Fisher, Global CEO of Stirling Education, shared his pride in the students’ achievements:
“These results demonstrate the power of perseverance, hard work, and the values at the heart of Stirling Schools. Our mission has always been to nurture young people who will shape the future of their communities and beyond. To see students who began their journeys with us at such a young age now excelling on a national stage is a powerful reminder of what education can achieve.”
The entire Stirling Schools network extends heartfelt congratulations all our students who took the Wezary exams this year. Their success is an inspiration to younger students and a shining example of what can be accomplished through dedication and support.
