Iraq
2018Private Schools have been operating in Iraq and Kurdistan for over 28 years - from Basrah in the south to Duhok in th north of the region. The Middle East schools group was acquired in 2018. These schools are licensed by the Ministry of Education and hold international accreditation.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
2018In March 2018, Stirling Education announced the acquisition of Richmond Park Schools across Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Burch University in Sarajevo.
Spain
2020In 2020, Stirling Education, in partnership with Thames British International, acquired Thames British School in Madrid. The school offers education from Early Years to A-level, following the British curriculum.
British Schools Overseas (BSO) Accreditation
2024In May 2024, Richmond Park Schools became the first and only educational institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive the prestigious British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation. This milestone is a testament to our commitment to delivering education aligned with British standards.
Bangladesh
2024In 2024, following the acquisition by Stirling Education, Timothy Donald Fisher was appointed Chairman of International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB). This marked a new and exciting chapter for the schools group, reinforcing the schools group's commitment in providing high-quality, values-based British curriculum. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship, IHSB continues to grow and thrive as a leading educational institution in the region under his leadership.
